Pixel ocean

PROTECT STATUS: not protected

The first time I saw the sea, I was deeply attracted by its freedom and power, and that sense of joy was engraved in my heart. However, as life is dominated by electronic screens, the real natural experience is gradually replaced by pixelated images. Now, the ocean is no longer the symphony of waves and sand, but a cold pixel presentation. The «sea» on the screen cannot bring real touch and emotions, leaving only virtual images.

«Pixel Sea» reflects the conflict between virtual and reality in the digital age. In this fast-paced, information-saturated world, our senses are gradually numbing. Through this set of works, I hope that viewers can think about whether pixel images can really replace the authenticity of nature. I hope it will evoke people’s re-perception of nature and the pursuit of inner peace.
