«I create recognizable characters, that come to life already at the concept stage»
For 2D animation studios | Comic book publishers | Game developers

The first (1) case: the comic «Real Unreality» — a universe at the intersection of sitcom and drama.
Task: Design a lineup of characters for a graphic novel about teenage escapism, where each character has their own geometric code. · Agatha — circle/cloud. · Susie — rhombus/drop. · Yuno — squat trapezoid. · Bianca — vertical rectangle. · Viola — inverted triangle.
Character lineup
Each character’s name is signed in their own unique handwriting.
Character and facial expressions: the character who appears on screen
The character comes to life not in the animation program — it comes to life in the concept.
I incorporate micro‑emotions, asymmetry, and dynamic weight into the facial expressions, making the character charismatic and memorable.
Technical model sheet: fixation of anatomy and volume
— Maintaining the height of the crown, shoulders, pelvis, and heels in all angles.
The world: The locations are presented as spaces altered by the main character’s perception. The stronger her anxiety, the more noticeably the perspective, scale, color, and boundaries of reality are distorted.
From concept to finished product
The case result: ◆ 100% ready visual package for pitching to streaming services or book publishers. ◆ The formed visual «project bible», which combines the drama of coming‑of‑age with the lightness of an animated series.
The second (2) case: Developing a stylized character for the video game «Dream»
Task: · Develop a recognizable 2D character for a video game set in the world of dreams. ·Creating a character in a stylized style that is close to human anatomy. · Create an emotion sheet, a model sheet, and additional actions for the character that visualize their personality and emotions.
Due to lack of sleep, the heroine looks tired even in her sleep.
The case result: ◆ The game is still in development. At the moment, full work has been done on the character’s personality and appearance through visualization.
The third (3) case: Working with the existing art base
Development of existing mascots & transformation of them for animation.
The «Animur» [АниМур] festival provided the project’s brand book with mascots.
Characters of the «Animur» festival
Task: ·Stylistic flexibility Transforming the character into a new look (a monkey) while preserving 100% of the brand’s identity, color gradients, and DNA ·Preparation for animation Creating variations of poses to understand the character’s movements. ·Working with existing art The ability to seamlessly adopt the client’s already established style and develop the character universe without any loss.
The case result: ◆ As a result, a video greeting card was created, which was shown to guests at Khabarovsk Airport. (Video was created for the «Animur» festival)
