I am an artist specializing in comics, character design, and visual storytelling. I graduated from the Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography (VGIK), where I studied animation, and I am currently continuing my education at HSE University (National Research University Higher School of Economics). My background in animation has shaped my approach to visual storytelling, character development, and expressive imagery. I am passionate about creating original characters and building visual worlds through comics, manga, and animation. I speak English and Japanese, which allows me to explore different cultural perspectives and draw inspiration from a wide range of visual storytelling traditions. I am constantly developing my artistic practice, experimenting with new ideas, and seeking opportunities to collaborate on creative projects.

Comics are at the heart of my creative practice. I explore visual storytelling through character design, sequential art, and the relationship between images, emotions, and narrative. For me, comics are more than a series of illustrations — they are a way to build worlds, express ideas, and create meaningful connections with the audience.

My process begins with characters. I explore their personalities through silhouettes, proportions, facial expressions, gestures, clothing, and color. Every detail contributes to their visual identity, revealing something about who they are and how they experience the world.

I believe that a strong character should feel alive beyond a single image. This is why I pay attention to how characters evolve across panels, interact with their surroundings, and communicate emotions through movement, composition, and visual rhythm.

Alongside comics, I explore manga and animation as ways to expand my visual language, experiment with movement, and discover new possibilities for storytelling. I am interested in the entire creative journey — from the first sketch and initial concept to the development of a complete visual world.

I approach every project as an opportunity to experiment, challenge familiar visual conventions, and find an original way to tell a story. I want my work to be recognizable not only through its visual style, but also through the emotions, ideas, and worlds it brings to life.
