Concept
This series of posters is dedicated to one day of the city cafe’s life. In the morning, visitors rush to work, so they take a cup of coffee quickly or take it with them and run on business, they come in for lunch in the afternoon and relax in the middle of the day, and they stop by on a date or sit on a laptop tonight.
The pictures add up to a narration where each of the next ones is darker than the previous one because of the changing time of the day. Various details also change: number of people, view outside the window, window filling, etc.
Figure 1 «Cafe before opening»
Time: 8:30. The staff are preparing to meet visitors by placing chairs, filling the window, washing the floor.
Figure 2 «Cafe in the morning»
Time: 9:30. The cafe is open. The first visitors show up, take the coffee with them. Grandma and granddaughter on the left came for breakfast.
Figure 3 «Cafe for lunch»
Time: 2:30 p.m. Lunch time. There’s been a significant increase in visitors. Everyone comes in between working hours to get a bite to eat.
Figure 4 «Cafe tonight»
Time: 7:15 p.m. Dinner hour. Someone came to work for a laptop, someone to spend time with a good company. There are candles on the window and lamps for the comfort of the atmosphere.
Figure 5 «Cafe after closure»
Time: 9:10 p.m. Café's closed. The staff removed the remaining pastries from the window, washed the floor, raised the chairs. The cafe is «resting» in order to receive new visitors tomorrow.
HOW CHANGED THE CHILD IS. The window / / window fills the most before baking is opened, but the number decreases during the day.
