Curve armchair: aesthetics of comfort
Product and interior designer Elena Khryashcheva presented a new item of her authorship: the Curve chair, which is ideal for creating a relaxed atmosphere in the interior.
The production model consists of two elements: the gently curved backrest flows into a base that supports the seat. It, in turn, also smoothly flows into the front part of the support.
Elena Khryashcheva: «The design is inspired by the joined palms of the hands — an image that contains several meanings at once. Reaching out to someone shows support and care, and I would like this chair to create a feeling of calm and comfort. „In addition, the touch of your palms against each other is associated with tactility, and the new model is very pleasant to the touch.“
The chair follows the principles of organic design: there is not a single right angle in it. Despite the sculptural shape, smooth lines form a clean, laconic silhouette that fits into most modern apartments and country houses. The model will complement minimalist interiors, help visually lighten spaces with its high aesthetics and will dialogue with vintage items from the mid-century era.
