The book is devoted to the study of the visual image of the labels of the collection sets of matchboxes of the USSR. The purpose of the study was to examine the stories and motives that were most commonly placed on labels and to analyse how Soviet graphic artists dealt with the problem of spatial and plot limitations in working on the visual component of the box.
