Set of jewelry from a broken plate

My name is Daria Sergeevna Dudnik or Zayka_Mosaika, and once back in 2011 I noticed that in our city there is separate waste collection, after which the collected raw materials are sent for recycling. I was very interested in this, and from that day my journey to an environmentally friendly lifestyle began. One day, as happens to many people, my favorite mug broke, and suddenly the idea arose that these beautiful fragments could be given a new lease of life in a mosaic. The fact is that dishes made of porcelain, ceramics or earthenware are not subject to mass recycling, unlike glass. And its further path lies only in a landfill, or in the hands of creative people.

2013 is the year I began my activities to «rescue» accidentally broken dishes. The photo shows a former broken plate from the Krasnodar porcelain and earthenware factory «Chaika». Instead of being thrown away, it became jewelry.
