One of the most unique festivals in the world. Masters are cut out of the giant roots of radis of humans, animals, architectural structures, and everything the fantasy of real artists can do. Sculptures are made by professional craftsmen and amateurs who grow radis in their fields. And, of course, one of the main themes of the festival is Christmas stories, historic buildings, famous cathedrals with many architectural details and figures. It’s a long tradition from Mexico. The city of Oaxaca began to celebrate the festival in its home country for the first time. The action itself lasts only a few hours, but it attracts a huge number of people.
