KATARSIS Architects presented a monolithic house made of 200×200 timber, 9 meters high and with a reinforced concrete foundation. The wooden house, created specifically for Nikola-Lenivets, symbolizes the cyclical nature of life. The two-story structure is distinguished by an unusual distribution of space between the levels. A steel door leads to the basement with a semi-recessed entrance. The only panoramic window, located above the dining table, opens up picturesque views and creates a sense of unity with the surrounding nature. It is flanked by two sleeping places, which makes the space more functional. Inside the house there is a kitchen and a combined bathroom. The second floor, intended for sleeping, has an impressive ceiling height of 8 meters. A sufficient amount of natural light penetrates the room thanks to a special lantern.
