Russian photographer, multidisciplinary artist and curator. He has participated in international art projects and won numerous professional awards, including the Innovation and Golden Section prizes. He joined the art group Neposredstvennaya Fotografiya (Direct Photography) in 1987 and collaborated with the artist Aristarkh Chernyshev for many years. His works are held in the collections of the State Russian Museum in St. Petersburg, the Centre Pompidou in Paris and the Moscow Museum of Modern Art.
