Igor Mukhin

Soviet and russian photographer and curator of Soviet origin who has participated in over 150 solo and group exhibitions in Russia and abroad. His photo books have been published in Austria, France, the Netherlands, Switzerland and Russia. Recognised as a master of documentary photography, he has captured pivotal moments in late Soviet and contemporary Russian history. Mukhin’s main subjects are urban landscapes, portraits and documentary typologies. His most famous works include the Night Moscow series and portraits of iconic 1990s figures such as Viktor Tsoi, Zvuki Mu and Aquarium.
