Poster for EYE open call ophthalmological centre «Sight»
Qatarkta is a disease that affects one in six people over the age of forty. With my poster, I want to draw the attention not only of people with a confirmed cataract diagnosis, but also of those who will be familiar with its symptoms. The project encourages people to go to the centre for early detection and treatment, as patients often ignore primary signs. People are familiar with the most popular symptoms of cataracts, so I’m paying attention to the less famous ones. In my poster, I use color stains, referring to the symptoms of cataracts: the disfigurement of color and the appearance of coloured ores when looking at the light source. In the case of visual impairment, patients have to use increasing reading glasses, which is why printing is distorted.
Cataracta is a disease that causes confusion in the crystal of the eye. In my poster, I use color stains to refer to the symptoms of this disease: the deterioration of color acceptance and the appearance of coloured ores when looking at the light.
