«Внутри избы» — книга об устройстве традиционного крестьянского дома, его внутреннем пространстве и предметном мире. Это прогулка по избе с рассказом о назначении каждой части дома, о быте, укладе жизни и символике деталей. Читатель узнает, как было организовано пространство, какие предметы окружали людей, что означали элементы декора и как дом отражал мировоззрение своих хозяев.

Основной идеей было максимальное раскрытие авторского акцидентного шрифта.
Для набора основного текста был использован Journal Sans Old School, все остальные элементы книги (в том числе и иллюстрации) были созданы при помощи авторского шрифта.
У букв прослеживаются народные черты, при их же соединении получаются символы, которые могут отсылать к русскому лубку или примитивному искусству.
