The social reality is from repeated scenarios, countless patterns of behavior, invisible structures that shape our behaviour — from routine rituals to existential elections. Five exhibitions in four cities, from Moscow to Vladivostok, explore this «grammatique» of society from different angles.
They capture the moment when traditional pathists expose the absurdity of living or, on the contrary, show how a person grows into these structures by becoming part of a heartless mechanism. Through the images of the night city, the metaphors of the growing forest, the irony of the provincial theatrics, and the grotesque types of modern times, the authors ask, where does the social mask end and the real «I» begin?

In the gallery, a joint project has been launched between the two members of the association of lower-city street artists, Bombe Crew, working not only in the paradigm of classical street art, but also in the areas of performance, painting, sculptures, photographs, etc. The curator divides the artists into two exposition areas, while maintaining narrative intersections and rhymes. The Leitmotive of the project is the image of a nightly city in which different stories unfold. The visuality of the authors' works is inspired by «post-vandalist» aesthetics and primitiveism. The Evsti Bomse line is a sublimation of street art canons and photos, receptions by an old filmmaker and, of course, a creative program by Dutch artists of the 16th century, such as Bosha and Breigel. It’s characterized by detail, mass scenes, fragmentation, a sense of space limitations. Most Evsti Bomse towels are potential formal dialogues with photographer Andreas Gursky. The German master of large-scale filming, a graduate of Dusseldorf School, literally «takes» into his lens of the stage of human life from the height of a bird’s flight — it’s easier to understand everything here, now and at once. Evsti Bomse is represented by multi-painted paintings and glamorous graphics, with the author raising the themes of justice, social roles and the broader theme of the way of life in the city.

==History==Bomse’s practical trajectory is a piece of painting and graphics, but the exhibition also shows his first work with a performance and a video art as a form of artistic expression. The author combines punk with naiv and association thinking by modelling special ambivalent images in the mood and aesthetics. «Executed children,» as he calls his characters, find themselves in tight spaces, existential labyrinths. The image of a home created by an artist is to stage a journey in different rooms from «hospital» and «kitchen facilities» to the most hidden areas of the individual vulnerable, in «salvage». ♪ The curator ♪ ♪ Christina Romanova ♪

Today’s painter Eugenia Vorenar is developing a long-term artistic project called «Inner Forest». A fragment of the Winsa Plant is presented to the public in the Winsa Plant Room. The artist turns personal biography into a system of archetypic images. The area of the forest being designed becomes a metaphoric map of growth, where every stage of life takes the form of dramatic action, where child characters are tested in search of justice. We see naked bodies in the snow, skeletons and other mortal motives — symbols of the extreme vulnerability and vicissitude of existence that the viewer also has to go through. The exhibition is built as a path from design to implementation: dive begins with graphics and floors to lead to completed canvass. It’s an exhibition process, a story about the creation of an imaginary universe, where every element literally breathes the emotional state of an artist. It is as if the viewer was passing through the woods after the author, witnessing the birth of a whole visual world. / curator: Sofia Temnikova

The species of the personal exhibition «This only appeared in the room at the time of the fall. Until then, it wasn’t in the room» by Cyril Savelev at Jessica Gallery.
By its first personal exhibition in the North Capital, created with the participation of the Voronezh gallery H.L.A.M., Cyril Savelev explores provincial life, according to the curator, through a video art and more than fifty photographs. In the lens, there’s an absurd theatre of everydayity in which the main hero fights hard against the world of life and the rebellious world of things. The characters pick their own place on the ponds, but the artist captures the result: the defeat here is tolerated by everyone. Accidents embedded in systems enter the lens of an artist who tries to think about them. It’s a story about how a person is invisiblely becoming a thing among other things — hopeless and ironic, where each frame breathes an atmosphere of universal curse. ♪ ♪ ♪ ♪ Ah ♪ ♪ Ah ♪ ♪ ♪ Ah ♪ ♪ Ah ♪ ♪ ♪ Ah ♪ ♪ ♪ Ah ♪ ♪ ♪ Ah ♪ ♪ ♪ Ah ♪ ♪ ♪ Ah ♪ ♪ ♪ Ah ♪ ♪ ♪ Ah ♪ ♪ ♪ Ah ♪ ♪ ♪ Ah ♪ ♪ ♪ ♪ Ah ♪ ♪ ♪ Ah ♪ ♪ ♪ Ah ♪ ♪ ♪ Ah ♪ ♪ ♪ ♪ ♪ ♪ Ah ♪ ♪ ♪ ♪ Ah ♪ ♪ ♪ ♪ ♪ ♪♪ ♪♪ ♪♪ ♪ ♪♪ ♪ ♪ ♪ ♪♪ ♪♪ ♪♪ ♪♪ ♪♪ ♪♪ ♪♪ ♪♪♪ ♪ ♪ ♪ ♪♪ ♪ ♪♪ ♪♪♪♪ ♪♪♪♪♪ ♪♪♪♪ ♪♪♪♪ ♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪ ♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪ ♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪ ♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪ ♪♪♪♪♪♪♪ ♪♪♪♪♪ ♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪ ♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪ ♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪ ♪♪ ♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪ ♪♪♪♪♪♪ ♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪ ♪ ♪ ♪ ♪ ♪ ♪ ♪ ♪ ♪ ♪ ♪ ♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪ ♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪ ♪♪ ♪ ♪ ♪♪♪ ♪ ♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪

Types of Daniel Kurdashov’s personal exhibition «Mechanism of Capturement of Insanity» — Galerya «BIZON»
As an innovator and sensitive social analyst, Moscow’s painter Daniel Kudrashov turns the phenomenon of Russian absurdity into a legitimate aesthetic category. The artist views paphos and kitch as innate and subconscious elements of mass culture. He is convinced that the more words, images, clichés, and behavioral mechanisms are born in modern times, the stronger each individual is away from himself. It’s this comparison that makes the Kuryashovs fundamental in their paintings. Starting with the deconstruct of marginal romance on the outskirts and the culture of the hoppers, the artist today turns to the new signs of time: «Info-Gypsies», the age of couriers, the replacement of brothels, the cult of the body, and bio-hacking. His images are viral and give rise to a living response in the area of the Runneth, and they are loved by galleryists and collectors. Through hyperbole, excess, and deliberate distortion, the Kudrashov allows the viewer to see the true face of modern times — strange, ridiculous, but infinitely living. ♪ Alexander Chagoulin ♪

What’s left when all the masks are off? Vasily Galactions sought an answer to this question throughout 2025, creating a series of works about a man lost between the outside and the inner self. In a new design, the artist’s clothes become a talking detail, being a trap or a refuge where the hearts of others beat, secrets and unlucky hopes are kept. The exhibition feels like a castle of theater, an association game, and a charades game. Artis, who runs the mysterious canal, is a guide to a world where the line between fiction and reality is finally erased. By leaving his diary records, the spectator turns out to be an active accomplice in the identity search process: looking into the gaps to finally see a living person, not a conventional role.
The setting and vices of modern society, and the patterns and rules of behaviour in it, have been one of the fundamental themes of art since the 16th century. Janoric scenes, psychological portraits — famous towels — sought to transmit the spirit of time through the daily lives of ordinary people. The following is a compilation of reproductions that illustrate the social life of different ages. The selected works are part of a large project art poster aimed at popularizing the towels of great masters.
