Visual research: preservation of the faith and culture of the old-fashioned communities

For more than three centuries, the Old Orders persecuted by the Church and the State as «heretics of the circus» have demonstrated their faith and persistence, their ability to adapt to different living conditions. Today, the elderly face the challenge of modernity, for the preservation of their faith and culture has always been linked to conservatism and distance from power. Visual research is an attempt to present and understand the world and culture of the old-fashioned communities not only through words and descriptions, but also through living and sealed images.
