Main materials: wood and brass. The coffee table’s frame and countertop are made of wood-based materials (chipboard, MDF/plywood, veneer). The frame is decorated with a brass rim. The countertop’s upturn prevents objects from falling and contains spilled liquids, while the front incision improves the ergonomic properties of the table (provides access to a socket, USB and USB Type-C connectors), makes washing the countertop easy, allows to connect devices to the power supply.

If tables are made for public places with high traffic of visitors, brass can be replaced with titanium nitride in order to improve the performance properties of the product.
In addition, the incision performs an aesthetic function and masks the junction of the brass sheet’s edges. The fittings (socket housings, decorative flanges) and the mounting tubes hung on the ceiling are also made of brass.

Table frame has three 16 mm chipboard countertops. Electrical outlets and electrical equipment are positioned between the lower and middle countertops (for sockets, USB ports and contour lighting), and under the upper countertop there is a buffer zone to protect the wiring.
The drawing shows the connection between the flanges and the worktop (the figure shows the top flange, bottom flange and cotter pin).
The coffee table attaches to the ceiling slab. A thread is made on the upper part of the brass tube, to which nuts are screwed on both sides of the ceiling slab. A washer is laid under the nut. The nut is fixed with a brass flange (200 mm in diameter) which is attached to the ceiling with spacer anchors to prevent the table’s rotation. The flange also performs a decorative role as it hides the connection between the brass tube and the ceiling plate.
Contour LED strip is integrated into the bottom of the coffee table. The light (its intensity and colour temperature) can be adjusted with a remote control. The power supply for the backlight is inside the table, together with electrical wiring. The unit is connected to the general power supply with wires covered by a brass tube.
