Ulan is a brand of dangling jewellery inspired by ancient Russian visual culture, its ornaments, and images. The brand’s jewellery features neat minimalistic details that tell a story.

The collection consists of 8 ornaments. It is based on the principle of a constructor: each element is both an independent piece of jewellery and a detail that can be attached to other elements.

The manufacturing process included 4 stages: sketching and creation of a 3D model, 3D printing and casting, processing, silvering.
The name «Ulan» is borrowed through the Polish ułan from the original Turkish / Kypchak / Azerbaijani («young man, boy») which meant light cavalry. «Uglan», «brave» was also used as the title for princes. Another meaning of the word is «red, scarlet, ruddy» (in Kalmyk).
Typography combines two fonts. The main typographic technique is the alternation of text alignment.
An important component of the project is the photographic style.
A complex-shaped box was chosen as the packaging.
