The Clipchair, created by the founder of Form architectural bureau Vera Odyn, has a design similar to a paperclip.
The chair bends in a way that forms its distinct and essential shape. One can feel the internal tension and balance within the structure. This chair has its own personality and adds an element of drama to the surrounding space.

The Clipchair with its mirrored surface can easily find itself a natural habitat, a place to stand alone, bringing beauty and reflect the beauty surrounding it.

«I have been working in product design for a long time as part of projects at the FORM bureau. However, as an independent project outside of the bureau’s ongoing work, I haven’t done much. I created the first sketch of the Clipchair while visiting the Eos factory in Uberaba, Minas Gerais, Brazil. That was in 2022, when I was also working on my first aluminum art objects.
I remember that moment vividly — I was sitting in a small office at the factory’s administration when I had the urge to create something very simple yet honest, something that could be drawn in a single, continuous line. That’s how the first sketch of the „paperclip“ chair came to life»
«Metal — especially aluminum — is my obsession. I’m drawn to its soft, warm glow. The Eos factory specializes in creating unique furniture pieces and art objects, particularly from aluminum. So, the idea of designing something in metal came naturally. Aluminum is great because it works equally well indoors and outdoors. It’s softer than steel, but I actually like the idea of objects aging naturally»
«The prototyping process took place in Brazil and lasted about two years as we experimented with different metal profiles and bending radii. Despite its seemingly simple form, the chair’s construction is quite complex. That’s why each piece is handcrafted».

The Clipchair is in a magnificent natural place in Brazil — the Piracaia Reservoir.
