В основе художественного фотопроекта «Уничтожение — систематизация» лежит создание парных изображений. В каждой паре первый объект — это квадрат размером 50×50 см голой земли, результат полного удаления всех растений на выбранном участке поляны. Второй объект — это системная композиция, созданная из изъятых растений: я нахожу наиболее часто встречающиеся виды и раскладываю их в границах того же квадрата, формируя визуальную типологию флоры этого места.
Таким образом, работа визуализирует диаду «уничтожение — систематизация». Идея заключается в исследовании грани между познанием и насилием. Я разрушаю фрагмент экосистемы, делая его непригодным для других организмов, а в оправдание этого действия создаю упорядоченный каталог, переклассифицируя уничтожение в «акт изучения».
Этот жест ставит центральные вопросы проекта: может ли систематизация служить оправданием насилия? Всегда ли стремление к порядку и познанию должно быть агрессивным? И не продиктованы ли подобные методы человекоцентричным мировоззрением, стремящимся подчинить природу категориям разума?
