Кольцевая линия «Жизнь по кругу» функционирует круглосуточно: поезда прибывают и убывают по расписанию. На станции каждую минуту пребывает неиссякаемый поток пасажиров. Однако как они здесь оказались, если в метрополитен входа нет? В своем творчестве Эрик Булатов часто обращается к теме свободы, которая сопровождается с выходом самой идеи за пределы пространства. Мифический выход — то, к чему стремится каждый пассажир кольцевой линии «Жизнь по кругу».
