
The last teenager left in a small, endangered monotown. Like many local residents who have lost their jobs, the Kid hunts for looting. He sneaks into abandoned apartments and takes out everything that can be sold, not embarrassed to pocket trinkets that he especially liked. The boy never gives his real name, and therefore he is already accustomed to being «that boy», «that kid», or just the Kid.
