«All I take is devoted to a simple person» — Dmitry Markov, the principal turn in his photographic practice, was the use of a smartphone as the main instrument for filming, which became his copyright and such a non-spoken technique. This method highlights the democratic and spontaneous view of the photographer.
The publication is divided into three parts, which focus on the main topics addressed by the photographer: the regions of Russia, childhood, and the final part focuses on his photo as a legacy (the Markov exhibition).
At the beginning of each is an interview with Dmitri Markov on one of the topics, such pages are painted in a bright blue shade.
Markov’s picture palitator is usually reserved, dominated by cold earth tone, gray, olive. In the foreground, people are dressed in everyday clothes, and the background is sometimes represented by painted walls or extinct surfaces. Textures become a visible accent, underscoring the «non-spoken» reality.
