Metallum park
The park is located on the outskirts of the metallostroy village, which served as the basis for the concept of creating space, which not only tells about the history of metal development in general, but also covers broadly the production characteristics of material processing. The park dives a visitor into the world of materials, art and history.

Since each part of the park is dedicated to a specific type of metal, the names of the zones have been given to alloys, some of which are present in the Mendeleev table with all familiar symbols, the remaining ones have been translated into Latin.

The park wanted to preserve the beauty of the nature of the place, so the main greening is the tall grass and the existing trees surrounding the pond.
In 1945, a research institute was built in the village and a new scientific community was formed. The description of the stages of the metal ' s development and work with it supports the idea of the site ' s research start.
The settlement centre was built in Soviet times and had distinctive colour decisions that had been preserved to date as monuments of architecture. In order to maintain the artistic value of the park, the works of modern artists, combined with the theme of metal, are placed in the park.
As the territory intersects the Petrozavodian highway, dividing the natural lake into two parts and forming two unconnected road zones, it was important to create connections of these parts in the park by building a footbridge.
