Longrid explores Godzilla’s image as a metaphor for nuclear trauma, guilt, and hope, tracking its path from the horror of 1954 to modern interpretations.
The visual style is inspired by Japanese magazines in the 1970's and 80's, and the structure is influenced by the idea of radiation contamination — chapters divided by a dosimeter, the level of which is increasing as they advance, increasing the visual effects.

The key metaphor is the explosion and its consequences. Not only physical, but also cultural, psychological, visual. This idea spans the entire Longrid, from the first chapter to the final.
