Sometimes it is very difficult to exist one-on-one with one’s thoughts, but there is no way out. One can’t run away from oneself, even if one really wants to. We use all available tools to calm down, and there comes a moment when it seems that the chaos has subsided and came into focus. However, it has not lost its nature, and in their mind, the character merges with the imaginary order, in fact both producing and accepting the disorder. This is completely invisible to others. No one can tell what the person is going through.

My work is a two-channel video installation. TV-sets playing videos hang on opposite walls. One screen broadcasts what is happening in the character’s head, and the other shows events from the outside. A viewer inadvertently becomes involved in the silent inner dialogue of the character.

This is a very personal and multi-layered story anyone can relate to, and it is important. I would like the audience to think about what is happening in their own minds and the minds of others. Everyone is going through their own struggle, which is important to accept and respect.
