OST to the 'Diary of a Contactee'
In the fall of 2020, for the Cassiopeia project, director Roman Koshienko created a documentary movie «Voronezh-Cassiopeia. Diary of a contactee», and invited me to become the author of the music for this film. I am happy to take up work on this project. The film tells about people who came into contact with alien civilizations. Such people are usually called «contactees». You can treat such people, communities and ufology in general in different ways, but for me, as the author of the music for this movie, it was an invaluable experience. And the whole film is made with a soul and respect for everything it tells about. To many, our work will seem ridiculous and naive, but for the heroes of the movie «Voronezh-Cassiopeia» is a matter of life, how not to treat it.
In the summer of 2021, the album of the C-Land project was published, the basis for which was the soundtrack to the movie «Voronezh-Cassiopeia». I’m very grateful to the director of this movie Roman Koschienko who offered me to make music for it. The result of this work has totally changed my view of C-Land’s sound. My musical life was basically split in before and after the work with this soundtrack that was refined later and transformed into the new album «Contactee’s Journal». And I also would like to thank the label «Microcosmos» for publishing this album and for the warm words in the press release. I’d like to believe that C-Land’s music can help somebody to find the harmony with nature, slow life down and succeed to listen each other, to admire the beauty around us and within ourselves.
