Description: The movie «Russian Ark» tells how cruel the old Russian empire was. However, they were able to cover it all up in public and look as if everything was fine. To illustrate this, the king and his subordinates used masks to trick the people. The Russian army represents the support of the state apparatus for the Russian empire’s abominable plans.
