In Chinese tradition, bamboo is associated with vital force and noble tenacity. It’s the grass that became a tree. Bamboo grows fast, it’s straight and strong, its leaves don’t even fall under the snow. It’s a symbol of a trusted friend and companion who doesn’t drift and bend under the blows of fate.
And I want to give the rock some hope.
